NIER: A few years after the first hit to consoles and PCs, Automata continues to resonate with its fans. Since then, the story of human Android 2b, 9s and A2 has been applied to a variety of other versions, including the famous anime, NIER: automata ver1.1a. Volume 2 comes with some nice extras like illustration cards, including exclusive interviews with the crew behind the show, exclusive interviews with reference materials in the game world, and a copy designed to match the included in the first volume. You will also find clean open and closed credit sequences, a series of trailers, and English and Japanese audio tracks. The main cover of the three-disk shoe case also has new illustrations on the 9s cover.
If you missed it, the anime adaptation of Nier: Automata has largely stuck to the same story as the 11,945 game/scene, which charts follow Android Soldiers 2B and 9s on Earth, and thousands of years later, the planet was destroyed in an alien invasion. Along the way, encountering mysterious phenomena, 2b and 9s discover new truths and are pushed into mechanical range while fighting strange threats.
