Disney and epic games are being planned for Star Wars and Fortnite May, but the latest news is probably the most surprising. Fortnite will host the premiere of Lucasfilm's next Star Wars anthology, Star Wars: The Underworld Story, ahead of Disney+ on May 4.
As part of the Star Wars theme Fortnite: Galaxy Battle SeasonEpic and Disney will launch Star Wars Watch Party Island on May 2 at 10 a.m. ET/PT. Fans participating in in-game events will be able to watch the first two episodes of The Underworld Story. They will also have the opportunity to use blasters and lightsabers to fight the commando wave. After the player logs into Fortnite or enters the code 2124-6713-8076, the island will be visible in a range of experiences. Players who watch both episodes will get a free Asajj Ventress loading screen in Fortnite.
This is just part of a larger integration between Star Wars and Fortnite in May. Players will be able to Link their Epic account with their Mydisney account. To do this, players will get a new first-order commando skin, as seen in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
Fortnite Festival also gave up on “Lapi”, Original songs from Jabba Palace As a reward for the Jedi. The song was cleared from the movie, favoring “Jedi Rock” in George Lucas's Return of the Jedi Special Edition. Fortnite Data Miners also broke the news that three new Star Wars-inspired tracks will be debuted during the event: “Running the Rebels”, “The Dark Side” and “Where are My Wookiees?”
Fortnite's new season will be available on May 2.
