Star Wars: Zero Company A roster of various characters will be part of the main team, including the Mandalorian, Jedi and Astromech Droid – but for Hawks' main protagonists, players can freely customize the operator. Speaking to Gamespot, BIT Reactor Creative Director Greg Foertsch revealed that players will have options to help you adjust the appearance of the eagle, from gender and sound to species in the Star Wars galaxy.
“You can live as you want,” Foertsch said. “If you want to change species, you can. If you want to change sounds, you can.”
The driving theme behind Hawks will be their origin story as former Republic officials and how they were forced to assemble Motley's crew to take on dangerous opponents, while the Clone Wars took place in the backstage. While Hawks is designed to have enough personality for players to brand themselves, Zero's roster of “famous characters” will have their own unique backstory and personality, and players will improve in the game. One of these allies is Jedi Padawan, who is seeking to complete the final mission of her fallen master, and the rest of the crew will also be frictional due to natural competition and hostility.
Interestingly, players will be able to strengthen the bond between these operators, resulting in powerful synergistic techniques that will help turn the battle around. “With a famous character, I think the team at Bit reactor did a great job of knitting the different perspectives you expect them to have in the galaxy and the Clone Wars, with this specific story, and your company is battling your company,” Lucasfilm Games Games Goams Expecutey Execuseey Creativey Creativey Creativey Sharpe added Creative Kelsey Sharpe.
“It’s like a little bit of conspiracy – the more you know about Star Wars – but if you don’t know about Star Wars, just look at that trailer and you can see how they bounce back to each other and you go, ‘Oh, that’s not the fun time gang I thought they were,’ right?”
