Dark Tower is Stephen King's longest and most iconic series. It debuted with the Gunners in 1982 and was finally packaged in 2004. The series has received critical acclaim and won the author of new fans. The Dark Tower cleverly blends fantasy, science fiction and western genres, tells the story of the last gunman Roland Deschain searching for the Dark Tower of the same name.

The Dark Tower follows Roland Deschain, a member of the Gunner Knight Order. His world is intertwined with magic and technological advancements, and is also a feature of the Wild West. Roland is looking for a journey to a dark tower (which is said to be able to connect the universe) and stops the black man (Randall Flagg).
The reason why Roland tracks the Dark Tower is a little blurry at first, but his true intentions surface as you travel through the epic Eight Books series – you'll find a lot of connections with other Stephen King novels.
