If you pick up a comic graphic novel, it's a paperback, and most likely a paperback. After all, they are very affordable and their pocket-friendly design makes them easy to carry around. But recently, we've also seen a variety of comic publishers offering luxury editions of some of the largest comic properties around. Typically, these luxury versions follow a similar format, reprinting each comic in an oversized page format, and binding them in a faux leather hardcover kit and choosing among featured exclusive extras.
So far, only a few comic series such as Kodansha and Dark Horse Comics have adapted it into this format, but we have adapted the comics available in the list below. We will also update this list as more comic titles get luxury version processing.
