The live-action movie of Death Stranding has a director

Quiet Place: The First Day Director Michael Sarnoski will write and direct Kojima to produce a live-action adaptation of Death Stranding.

There are few details about the live-action adaptation of Death Stranding. The original 2019 game takes players to the wastelands in an attempt to reconnect a scattered America in an extinction-level event, a world plagued by nightmares and strange events. Death Stranding also features a star-studded cast that includes Norman Reedus’ lead roles in Sam Bridges, Léa Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Guillermo del Toro and Margaret Qualley. It would be interesting to see if these actors re-enable in a live-action adaptation.

There are more death strands in the store because Kojima Productions recently confirmed Death Stranding 2: Will be launched on the beach Late June 26, 2025, on PlayStation 5. The next game in Death Match also picked up more stars, including Luca Marinelli and Elle Fanning.
