Razer reveals Blade 18 (2025)by far its most powerful gaming laptop. Like the recently announced Blade 16, the new 18-inch razor laptop takes advantage of the new Nvidia Geforce RTX 50 Series GPU. Both Razer's new high-end gaming laptops are now available for pre-order on April 30 and are expected to be released on April 30. Blade 18 starts at $3,200, while The Blade 18 Blade 16 Retail price is $2,800 and above.
Blade 18 is booked with laptop rack chromosome ($130) and X-ray chroma skin ($65). If you book the blade 16, you will get the Razer's USB-C Dock ($120 value) and X-ray chroma skin (valued at $60).
The Blade 18 features a unique dual-mode display that supports 3840 x 2400 UHD+ resolution and has a 240Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the screen can render images at 1920 x 1200 FHD+ resolution and foam at a 480Hz refresh rate.

With the option to customize the Razer Blade 18 for the RTX 5090 laptop GPU, it should be ready to handle anything you throw. The RTX 5070 TI is standard, while the extra cost of upgrading to the RTX 5080 is $500 and the RTX 5090 costs $1,300. All GPUs are paired with the Intel Core Ultra 9 275hx (5.4GHz), but the chassis is only 21.99mm thick. You can also choose SSD sizes, ranging from 1TB to 4TB. The same goes for memory, with the option of 32GB or 64GB models.
Apart from all the features, one of the most attractive features of the blade 18 is its new display. Razer says it's the “first” 18-inch dual-mode display, allowing you to run games with UHD+ resolutions of 3840×2400 and 240Hz refresh rate or FHD+ 1920×1200 and 440Hz REFRESH REFRESH rates. This gives you the flexibility to choose which option is best for your current needs (resolution or speed), making the blade suitable for a variety of tasks.
The cooling device is a three-span system that should quickly dissipate any accumulated heat, while the new scissor switch has been redesigned with a 35% increase in travel distance compared to the model that is about to leave. Each key also has 10 key NUMPAD and dual backlight.
Combined with a six-speaker THX system and a 5MP webcam, Razer is evident that it has built the Blade 18 to fight the best gaming laptops on the market.
If you prefer AMD processors, the Razer Blade 16 comes with the new Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU. You can pair AMD's high-end CPU with one of the RTX 50 Series graphics cards. The Blade 16 has a 1600p QHD+ OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate. You missed the dual-mode display technology, but you'll get an OLED screen.
