Update your Xbox controller now might be a bad idea

Microsoft's Xbox firmware update is not pleasant. It may be annoying compared to the negative effects of the Xbox Insider update, but it appears pale. Users reported that the firmware did not delete the games they downloaded on the console, but everything else was essentially starting from scratch. Ironically, this insider update is designed to solve minor issues with players viewing their Xbox profiles. Total elimination of these profiles is an unexpected result.

This issue should not affect players who do not participate in the Xbox Insider program. For the planned players, they have the option to leave the preview. Probably the final version of Xbox Insider won't run into the same problem, but the program is still in beta.
