Xbox Boss Phil Spencer Issue Update About Rare's Long-Term Development Everwild Update

What happened to rare things Everwild? It has been more than five years since Microsoft's X019 presentation announced the competition. Repeated rumors of not displaying and restarting in Xbox showcases have led some to doubt whether Everwild is in trouble. That's not the case, says Xbox boss Phil Spencer.

In an interview ShaboSpencer listed Everwild as one of the unappeared games he was excited about, adding that he recently visited the British studio Rare, which runs the live service Pirate Adventure Game Ocean to learn about Everwild , and progress is being made by developers.

“Yes, the decayed state is just one of my favorite franchises, so one stays on the board. I do think the work Double Fine is doing and how Tim (Schafer) asks for feedback from the team. Another, I'm going to say that because I'm in rare lately. It's great to see the team have Everwild and the progress they've made.”
