Xenoblade Chronicles X: The authoritative version of Pegi rating adds a “gender” tag, inspiring people to be confused about what changes

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Authoritative Edition The Nintendo Switch is now out and European fans are picking up their copy, flipping it, and being surprised to see the “Gender” in the PEGI rating list “Sex”.
Discovered NintendoFans noticed that there was a difference between the Switch versions of the Wii U and Xenoblade Chronicles X. Although the original Wii U version of 2015 was rated as PEGI 12 for violence and bad language, the final version on the Nintendo Switch retains the PEGI 12 rating but adds sex to its Labels.
Naturally, the addition of this tag caused confusion. As a fan on X/Twitter said bluntly: “What did they add?”
